Ellina Pollitt, has lived in the UK for 18 years. Her passion for design was sparked by her first degree in Forestation and Park Arrangements, where landscapes were a passion. Working as a fitness instructor widened her interests in anatomical and natural forms.
Following her passion for design she enrolled at Staffordshire University, finding kindred spirits and mentors, graduating in 2019 as a 3D Designer Maker specialising in jewellery. She graduated from Birmingham City University’s School of Jewellery with a Masters last year.
She won “The 2021 Goldsmiths and Design Award”. Winning Gold in the laser technology design category and was awarded the prestigious Alfa Laser overall award for this category.
She loves to work with different metals, finding it fascinating to form flat pieces of material into bold and creative designs, enjoying developing patterns, structures, forms and constructions.
